About Me

Prior to establishing my own consulting firm, I was a teacher, site administrator, and technology integration specialist in a career that spanned more than 23 years in both public and private education. Since 1986, I have published hundreds of articles in a variety of education journals and am author of more than one dozen books on topics including: well-being for educators and students; disinformation in media; school leadership; and, effective use of technology in classrooms.

I work with educators internationally, focusing primarily in two areas—helping educators create and sustain a personal sense of well-being and practical technology-supported strategies for increasing personal productivity and effectively implementing technology-enhanced instruction. Social emotional learning, artificial intelligence, digital citizenship, and media literacy skills are areas of particular interest for me.
