About Me

One of the original technology users in the district where I taught, I continue to explore ways in which technology can be used to facilitate teaching and learning.
Prior to establishing my own consulting firm, I was a teacher, site administrator, and technology specialist in a county office of education in a career that spanned more than 23 years in both public and private education. Since 1986, I have published articles and software reviews in a variety of education journals. I am also the author of a number of books which focus on effective use of technology in schools.
I work with educators internationally, focusing on practical technology-based strategies for personal productivity and effective technology implementation in classrooms. Mobile technologies, BYOD programs, and digital literacy skills are areas of particular interest for me. I also teach classes and workshops for adult learners in various settings.
